Nothing defines enjoyment more than seizing or creating the opportunity to break away from daily routines and ever so pressing obligations, and then taking a treasured journey back down memory lane, and stepping back into the very hidden place we so enjoyed as a child. And the thrill of being able to listen to the melodies, rhythms, and harmonies of nature's free concerts, in the Heaven sent great Forest Cathedral is one of the golden gifts in life.
There is so much good all around, though not all is perfect. And when the load gets too heavy and the sky gets too dark and dreary, there is always a sunny day awaiting, up above. And there is a Voice that still calls to us. Sometimes it is so small and humble we may miss it. But we can stop and remember back to our youth, when that same Voice, a lifelong friend and guide, never forsook us, never left us, always sheltered and fed us. And like our friend David, we may hear that Voice as a wind in the bulrushes, going on before David.
And like a warm Southern breeze making it's way Northward from South Carolina, traveling through tall Pines dropping their cones, or majestic Oaks we may have climbed as a youth, or Indiana Sycamores with their beautiful large leaves, or the golden quaking Aspens sharing their urgent little fall messages, or the great Hickory trees, sharing their edible fruit while providing a canopy of shelter, beckoning us back home again.
When it's Supper time, a time to head back Home, we can again look for the feel of and the sound of that Hickory Wind, call'in us back home. So how does that relate to this design we are posting? Well, this design's very title just kept coming as a little messenger's Voice - whispering "name this plan, at this time, with this little blog note". That's it, ... at least for now.
God bless you all - hear that Voice dear friends! It's the only Voice of Truth and Life Eternal.
